Pro /Bridge Engineering, located in Burlington Ontario, Canada provides specialized services in bridge design, analysis, bridge management and in developing software to support the bridge engineering profession. Our clients are consulting engineers and government agencies.  

Pro /Bridge Engineering was founded in 1998 by Dr Adel Fam who has dedicated 35 years of his career to the bridge engineering profession. His wide experience in this area allowed him to possess a unique blend of academic as well as practical experiences in the areas of, design, construction, bridge management, codes and specification and advanced computer technology. He has effectively provided key leadership in developing the Ontario Modular Bridge Analysis System “OMBAS” used by consulting and government engineers in Ontario and many Canadian transportation departments

Pro / Bridge Engineering has been at the forefront in the area of the application of computers in the civil engineering profession. Our keen interest in this area and our ability to identify and build practical and useful computer systems is recognized by the bridge engineering industry in Canada .

Pro /Bridge Geometry software - introduced in the market in November 2003 - was developed in recognition of the economical benefits of communicating engineering concepts from the conceptual to the final stage of a bridge project. It utilizes 3-D parametric modeling of the bridge prototype to produce scaled drawings or tabular geometric quantities to prepare the final contract documents.
