Piers

The layout of a pier support is described by selecting the station of its working point on a control alignment and the azimuth or skew angle of its support line. Pier structure may include one or two pier caps beams. The system allows up to two sets of regularly spaced column supports with individual or combined shallow or deep foundation structure. The user has many options to select column shape and cross section ( circular, rectangular, shaft like with rounded or triangular nose,etc.). The system automatically computes the co-ordinates, azimuth and elevation of working points at the pier working points. It also produces scaled drawings depicting : pier layout, foundations ( shallow or deep), pier front view, plan , horizontal and vertical sections and bearing layout and elevation.
