Screed Elevation Tables

The system includes a very powerful utility which allows for the definition of elevations at locations offset from any road trajectory. This utility has been customized in the system to generate screed elevation table for any multi-span bridge with arbitrary skew support lines. The feature includes the ability to handle multi-road surface with constant or variable width and super elevation. The screed elevation could be obtained at top of concrete, top of straight or curved girders, at sidewalk or parapet wall. In fact the concept could be used to obtain elevations anywhere on the structure such as top of girders or bearing seat. Screed elevations are calculated at regularly spaced planes within a span or a region. The planes could be parallel to a defined direction or normal to chainage control alignment. In addition, screed elevations could be automatically adjusted for dead load deflection on span by span basis. The system output at each transverse plane,, the elevation at every point , distance between points and the azimuth of the transverse plane. The information is organized in table form that can be copied directly to any program or directly inserted into the contract drawing file.
